bime and te­a­ching

The bime is one of 18 in­sti­tutes of the fa­culty of pro­duc­tion en­gi­nee­ring of the Uni­ver­sity of Bremen, which oc­cu­pies a top po­si­tion in ran­kings of German fa­cul­ties. Among others due to our ex­cel­lent te­a­ching of­fers we aim at pro­vi­ding con­ti­nuous sup­port to stu­dents, of­fe­ring spe­cific lec­tures and prac­tice-ori­ented pro­jects.

Stu­dents ob­tain the pos­si­bi­lity to de­velop their soft skills and to de­epen their know­ledge in tech­nical me­cha­nics, pro­duc­tion tech­no­logy, as­sembly and lo­gi­stics, con­struc­tion and ope­ra­tion of pro­duc­tion plants. Our study pro­gram re­fers to stu­dents en­rolled in the courses pro­duc­tion en­gi­nee­ring, sys­tems en­gi­nee­ring, as well as in­dus­trial en­gi­nee­ring and ma­na­ge­ment.

Apart from an ac­tive, con­ti­nuous sup­port, stu­dents get the op­por­tu­nity to par­ti­ci­pate in our cur­rent pro­jects. The range of pro­posed pro­jects va­ries from stu­dent’s ori­en­ta­tion pro­jects to ba­chelor and master thesis. Stu­dents learn scien­tific en­gi­nee­ring and gain prac­tical ex­pe­ri­ence through co­ope­ra­tion with our in­dus­trial part­ners.
